Recently in my post Report from DIY skin cream workshop I asked you this question “I have provided you with lots of cream recipes during last few weeks. Have you tried any?” Since I haven’t received any responses so far, I am guessing that you were too lazy and perhaps no one has tried any of the recipes yet
. But I will not give up! I will update you with some new facial cream recipes soon, so stay tuned.
In case you’ve missed my posts about how to easily create facial creams at home, please find them below:

However, today I wanted to ask you another question. How do you
moisturize?
Maybe you are using a facial oil blend, or a homemade facial cream? Are you using a great (or not so great
) product from a company specializing in natural or organic skin care products? Or you are using conventional creams?
So how do you moisturize? Please share your thoughts.

My previous homemade facial cream for pimples was based on beeswax and it turned out to be great though it was very thick. So my today’s facial cream i decided to make on the base of lanolin so I could receive more gentle consistency.
Please check my Yahoo Flickr page if you want step by step guide with photos here .
Preparation time: about 30 minutes
Difficulty: 2 of 5
Ingredients:
* 2 teaspoons of lanolin
* 4 teaspoons of calendula oil
* 4 teaspoons of almond oil
* 10 teaspoons of chamomile tea
* 2 drops of tea tree essential oil
* 2 drops of lavender essential oil
Instructions:
Melt lanolin in a double boiler. Add calendula and almond oils to the melted lanolin. Then slowly fill the chamomile tea. Shake the medley thoroughly with a mixer, so water and oils could make up a paste. Shake till cream get cold. Received medley pour out to a glass jar. If you are going to add essential oils to the cream, jar should be made of a glass. After you pored out the medley to a jar and add 2 drops of tea tree oil and 2 drops of lavender oil.
hurray! Cream came out to be very gentle and rapidly soaking.
