Last month we were discussing why we should use a facial clay mask and I provided some clay mask recipes for face. Today i decided to share my best clay mask recipes for your hair.

Clay mask is very effective remedy. It absorbs dirt, clean the hair and head skin, give volume to the hair and also has antiseptic properties. All clay types differently effect to your hair for example white clay is more suitable for oily hair, while pink (rose) clay should be applied on dry hair, if you suffer from dandruff green clay would be the best choice.  So here are some clay mask recipes for your fabulous hair:

WARNING: Clay mask can make your hair very heavy and dry. So make sure you applied hair softening conditioner or balsam after procedure. Use clay mask no more then twice a week.
By the way, if you noticed that with the clay is washed away a lot of your hair, don’t worry – this is dead hair which was temporarily kept in the hair follicles.

The simplest way to make a clay mask is to mash it with water, green or chamomile (or any other herbal) tea. Mix some of clay with liquid till you receive smooth past. Then rub it into the hair roots and along the length of your hair. Wash your head, with shampoo, after 20 – 30 minutes.

To make you hair more shiny you can add 2 tablespoons of apple vinegar and egg yolk.

Great clay mask recipe to make your hair grow faster:

Ingredients:
* 1 teaspoon of clay
* 1 teaspoon of butter
* 1 egg yolk
* 1 teaspoon of honey
* 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Instructions:
Again mix all together and rub it into the hair roots and along the length of your hair. Wash your head with shampoo after 20 – 30 minutes.

Ingredients:
* 1 egg

Instructions:
Before going to shower prepare citrus water just add some drops of lemon juice. Then shake the egg till you receive the foam. Use as simple shampoo. Then rinse with the citrus water.

Ingredients:
* 25 gram of natural liquid soap
* 100 gram of water
* 1 egg yolk

Instructions:
Shake the yolk till you receive the foam. Mix natural liquid soap with water and shacked egg yolk. Use as simple shampoo

Ingredients:
* 2 tablespoons of grinned oatmeal
* egg yolk
* tablespoon of honey
* 1/2 glass of boiling water

Instructions:
Oatmeal mix with boiling water. Add egg yolk and honey. Apply to hair for 15 minutes. Then rinse off.

Ingredients:
* 2 tablespoons of camphor oil or olive oil
* 1 egg yolk

Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients and use as a simple shampoo.

Banana & egg shampoo for dry hair:

Ingredients:
* banana
* some lemon juice
* 2 egg yolks

Instructions:
Mash banana, add some of lemon juice and egg yolks. Use as a simple shampoo every day

DON’T use a very warm water, I suggest you to use even little bit cool water to rinse off a shampoo, because you are risking to have a boiled egg in your hair, as I had , because I used to have a really hot shower.

Ingredients:
* 1 egg yolk
* 2 teaspoons of water
* 50 g. cognac

Instructions:
Thoroughly mix the ingredients in the bowl. Use the liquid as simple shampoo, wash your hair thoroughly massaging your head skin. This natural homemade shampoo rejuvenate your hair, egg yolk make them shiny.

Ingredients:
* 1 teaspoon of vodka spirit mixed with water (3/4 glass of spirit to 1/2 glass of water)
* 4 – 5 drops of lemon juice
* 1 egg

Instructions:
Shake the egg then add vodka or spirit and lemon juice. Use as simple shampoo.

Ingredients:
* 1 tablespoon of shampoo
* 1 egg yolk
* 1 tablespoon of gelatin
Instructions:
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients and use the medley as a simple shampoo.

I always suggest to use little bit cool water to rinse off a shampoo, because you are risking to have a boiled egg in your hair.
