I’d like to point out that I was not monetarily compensated for this review. All the opinions and thoughts contained in this post are purely my own. Nicole from The Mentholatum Company, marketer of the USDA-certified organic Softlips lip care line, was so lovely, that send one package of lip care line products of 3 lip glosses, 3 lip tints, lip butter and lip polish to me for review. She also agreed to provide products for our giveaway. So be sure that you have read this post until the end to find out how to become the happy winner of a Softlips kit.

Natural Softlips line comes in three sexy shades

Currently, Softlips 100% pure natural line comes in three sexy shades Shell Pink, Natural Honesty and Coral Charm, providing sheer color options to compliment all skin complexions. These three colors come in a lip gloss and a lip tint. The lip gloss provides glossy color with high shine, while the lip tint provides more of a matte shade. In the pictures that you see above, I’m wearing the lip tints. Anyway no matter which of these product you use, they will definitely look really charming on your lips!

The Softlips products are all about, curiously enough, making your lips soft! My lips feel very moisturized. These products also really help wind burned lips, which I get a lot in the autumn.

The most pleasant thing about these lip products is that I have found that I haven’t needed to reapply them very often. Both the lip tint and the lip gloss stay on your lips for quite a long time, (of course, be sure not to lick the tint or gloss off first, as the smell may seduce you to do so).

I can’t tell you exactly how long this product will stay on your lips. However, I can say that a light film of the product even stayed on my lips after having a nourishing dinner.

SPF protection. I also am thrilled that all the Softlips products contain SPF 15 protection. Sun protection is provided with the help of zinc oxide, which is a common ingredient in natural sun protection products.

Smell. The smell of all these glosses and tints is approximately the same and reminds me of fruit chewing gum, so I sometimes can’t help licking it off! But this isn’t quite as scary as it may first sound, because if even I eat the lip tints and lip glosses I wont be transferred to the hospital for chemical poisoning. After all, these little pretty things are all made of only natural ingredients.

Natural Lip Butter

I never actually used lip butter before, so this was a new discovery for me. This lip butter from Softlips contains shea butter, castor seed oil, lanolin and beeswax as main ingredients. All these natural ingredients are known for their ability to soften the skin. This lip butter perfectly achieves this goal.

This fancy lip butter also provides sun protection of SPF 15 and has a light vanilla-berry flavor. This lip butter is very light and removes very easily, so it’s perfectly suited to wear and soften your lips during the night while you are sleeping. If you wear it during the day, you will need to reapply it quite often.

Natural Lip Polish

The exfoliating lip polish buffs away dry lips with organic coconut flakes and sugar crystals, leaving your lips soft and smooth. And it really does do the trick! Needless to say, after using this polish, my lips became extremely soft.

While I was scrubbing my lips, I was feeling little grains under my finger and enjoyed the coconut flavor. It’s really a pleasant and relaxing procedure.

Would I recommend 100% pure natural Softlips line?

Thousands of “yeses”! I have not one negative thing to say about this line. I find that it works great! Now I can confidently say that Softlips will always be a part of my collection of lip glosses. So, if you have not tried this brand yet, pick up a tube of this product, or better WIN IT!

I was recently excited to find out that tea tree essential oil has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties so that it works as a natural deodorant. It neutralizes odor while also inhibiting odor-causing bacteria. I first tried this by applying a few drops of the essential oil on my underarms, and it kept me fresh for almost the entire day. The only problem was that the strong smell did not dissipate very quickly, and it was difficult to go throughout the day smelling like that.

I felt a little bit disappointed because I really wanted the tea tree oil benefits, except the smell was too strong for me. Then I stumbled upon a tea tree deodorant roll-on by Dr. Organic at a local health store. Needless to say, I grabbed it immediately and rushed home for testing.

My test results:

Tea tree deodorant by Dr. Organic comes as a liquid cream roll-on. It has many great antibacterial ingredients: Tea Tree Oil, aloe vera, Icelandic moss, and moisturizing from sunflower oil and vitamin E. From the ingredients alone, I can attest that this deodorant is perfect for anyone that has an issue with bad body odor.

The deodorant does take a while to dry, so make sure not to put on your clothes right away after using it. You can also use a hair dryer to blow it dry, as I often do if I am in a hurry. Still, it does not leave any white residue or stains on the clothing!

I almost forgot to mention that it has a faint smell because of the natural ingredients, but there is not the strong smell of tea tree. In fact, it is quite the opposite because tea tree in combination with other ingredients creates a clean and healthy deodorant smell so that you remain fresh.

My verdict is that this is a gentle and long-lasting natural deodorant roll- on, which will work even in hot weather. When I stepped out into the hot sun, my underarms did sweat, but the deodorant worked well so that there was not any body odor.

Dr. Organic has a wide range of products from shampoos to mouthwashes. To find out more information, check out their website. I am going to go to back there myself to get the deodorant roll-on with my favorite lavender scent when I next run out!

I have done extensive research before buying sunblock for this summer, and I have chosen Sante Lotion due to its: reasonable price, numerous positive reviews for the full line of skin care products, non-comedogenic ingredients that will not clog your pores

We have had sunny weather over the past week, and I felt that it was the perfect condition to test out my new sunblock. My first impression was very positive because it had an amazing and gentle smell. However, after that, I felt a little bit of a disappointment because the consistency of the product turned out to be very thick, so that it was difficult to apply. After applying the cream, it left a white powdery residue on my skin, probably due to the zinc oxide.

I went into the backyard for a sunbathing test. I laid out in the sun for five hours, and my skin became a beautiful light brown color. I was also very impressed after I noticed that my skin was shine-free. I normally have very oily skin, and after a few hours, the sun will cover my skin with an oily film. However, I did not notice any of that, and I spent the entire next day outside in warm and sunny weather without any shine or grease on my skin. This lotion seems to have a gentle drying effect, and no other sunblock that I have used has had this effect. What is even better is that none of my pores were clogged, and my skin felt very smooth and radiant!

After showering the next day, I applied a gentle moisturizer to my face and body, and I then applied Sante sunblock. With this method, it helped the product to spread very easily over my skin. I forgot to mention that this product contains only natural ingredients, and it is ideal for sensitive and acne-prone skin. The only issue with this product is that it is thick and difficult to apply, but you can purchase it here. As for me I will continue to search for the best sunblock to satisfy all of my needs.

I’ve been using Dr.Hauschka Rhythmic Night Conditioner for over 10 years, after being introduced to this product at a spa on a cruise ship.

I had never heard of Dr. Hauschka before and now I tell everyone about it. When I started taking this product, I had a weather-beaten face that was flaky and had red skin and pimples. These conditions are now gone and my skin looks healthy and feels smooth and flexible. I get comments regularly about how smooth my skin looks. Many of my friends and family are now using this product.

When you first use this product, it feels like you are smoothing nice smelling water on your face. It’s hard to imagine that something that goes on like water can make your skin feel so great. Within minutes your skin feels soft, toned, and pliable. Your skin now reminds you how balanced and healthy skin feels. Pimples disappear in 1-2 days. Sun overexposure is reduced overnight. Dry skin becomes non-existent.

Dr. Hauschka Rhythmic Ingredients

Rhythmic night conditioner contains white lily, anthyllis and rose. Each of these products contribute to healthy balanced skin. Rose helps soothe sensitive skin as it harmonizes and balances skin functions. White Lily helps the skin maintain flexibility and discourages excessive build-up of dead skin cells, as well as hydrates the skin. Anthyllis helps normalize oily, dry and even irritated skin.

I really enjoy using this product and highly recommend that you try it.

About a week ago, I accidentally received an amazing Lavender Relaxing Body Oil from Weleda. A friend of mine actually purchased it for herself but didn’t like the smell, and knowing that I am a lavender junkie, she gave this massage oil to me as a gift over a cup of tea. While we were sitting there chatting, I actually was seated with the bottle right under my nose because I loved the smell so much that I couldn’t tear myself away!

The best part about this oil is that it contains only natural ingredients. The main ingredients within the product are lavender oil, almond oil, and sesame seed oil. These oils are full of healing benefits, and lavender oil works to relax your skin. Almond oil has wonderful moisturizing properties, and it also has been proven to soothe the skin to treat allergies and inflammation. Sesame seed oil works as a potent antioxidant, and it will neutralize free radical damage in the tissues underneath the surface of the skin. This works to keep the skin supple and soft. I also added few drops of grapefruit essential oil to the bottle, so my Weleda body oil is also having cellulite fighting properties now.

Weleda oil is highly absorbent, and the skin will feel soft and silky directly after application. The oil can be used as a simple moisturizing oil for your whole body, or it can also be used as a massage oil.

For those rare few who are not lavender fans out there, you can pamper yourself with many other scents from Weleda! However, I highly recommend Weleda Lavender Body Oil since it is more than worth trying.
