hm launches organic skin care line H&M Launches Organic Skin Care LineFrom March 2010, H&M will be launching a line of organic skin care products certified by Ecocert, Europe’s leading organization for the certification of natural and organic cosmetics.

I know I’m a little bit late with this news. Anyway I decided to add my two cents and express my opinion on this event :) .

A few seasons back H&M came out with the organic cotton line mixed into their children’s clothing line. Since 2007 there have been 100% organic cotton garments in every department. And now you’ve got one more reason to worship at the altar of H&M – a new skincare line made with certified organic ingredients.

Starting this month H&M organic skin care line will include a range of products: shower gel, body lotion, body scrub, lip balm and hand cream, along with an organic cotton toilet bag and make-up bag. It comes in raspberry and melon or lavender and mint fragrance combination and has recyclable packaging.

Top 2 Foods to Avoid For Healthy Skin

foods for healthy skin Top 2 Foods to Avoid For Healthy Skin The truth of the matter is that what you eat really does count when it comes to the health and radiance of your skin. Many times, your diet will directly impact the quality of your complexion and cause a number of skin issues that could be easily corrected by eating healthier foods in your diet!

When it comes to choosing foods for healthy skin, it is always recommended to have a balanced diet and exercise program. The reason for this is that a healthy diet with foods for healthy skin will provide the nutrients your complexion needs to thrive and prevent any issues, like acne or wrinkles. On top of that, if you regularly exercise, it will boost the circulation in your skin, which will cause new cell growth to prevent a dull and flat complexion. Regular exercise also works to push toxins from the surface of your skin, allowing your complexion to look healthier as a whole.

Natural and Organic Doesn’t Mean Safe

natural and organic doesnt mean safe1 Natural and Organic Doesnt Mean SafeWhen you are shopping for the best beauty products on the market, you may often be attracted to the natural and organic ingredient labels. However, something important to take into consideration is that your skin readily soaks up any product that you apply to it, meaning that toxins and chemicals can be quickly absorbed to penetrate your central nervous system. This means that all ingredients within skin care products need to be looked at with care to determine if they are really safe after all.

Any product on the market can be labeled natural, proving that you still need to read ingredient labels to make sure that a product lives up to its claims. There is no legal restriction on using the word natural for a beauty product, although 100% organic products do have strict certifications. Organic products simply must use organic ingredients, but they can still contain fillers and additives that make them unsafe to use on your skin.
