Aloe vera for oily skin

If you have oily and acne prone skin preserved aloe vera juice is your salvation. To preserve aloe juice, mix the juice with spirits in the ratio of 4:1, and store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of no more than 15°C. Wipe your face every day before going to bed.

Aloe mask for dry skin

Mix aloe juice, honey, glycerin and water in equal proportions. Thoroughly mix and add 1 teaspoon of oatmeal flour. Mix again and apply to face for 20 minutes.

Aloe mask recipes for aging skin

- Finely chop 1 tablespoon of fresh aloe leafs, 1 tablespoon of fresh mint leafs, 1 tablespoon of callendula leafs. Apply moisturizing cream then the mixture on your face. This mask will deeply cleanse and rejuvenate your skin.

What homemade remedy to do right now to get your face and body ready for spring? Let’s dig a little deeper into the fridge :) .

Homemade carrot mask (for dry skin).

This will be perfect to pumper dry skin. It moisturizes and nourishes the skin with essential vitamins. Grate 1 – 2 carrots and mix with egg yolk. Apply to face and rinse off after 20 minutes. You can use it 1 – 2 times a week.

Homemade tomato mask (softening mask).

To soften and revitalize your skin. Mix grated tomato with 1/4 cup cornmeal, add few drops of olive oil. Apply mask for 20 minutes then rinse off.

Homemade cucumber mask (relaxing mask).

Apply this mask after a hard working day. It will help to relax and hide all traces of fatigue on your skin. This mask is also recommended for aging skin. Mix 1 tablespoon of cucumber fresh juice, 1 tablespoon of cream and 20 drops of rose water.  Thoroughly mix till you receive a foam. Apply mask for 20 minutes then rinse off.

Homemade potato mask (prevent wrinkles).

Boil 1 potato, mash it and add 1 tablespoon of milk and egg. Apply to face, for better effect you can cover your face with the towel. After 20 minutes you can rinse off it.

Homemade sweet pepper mask (for all types).

Grind some of sweet pepper, mix it with 1 teaspoon of sour cream and egg. Thoroughly mix. Apply to face and neck for 20 minutes, then rinse off.

Lips are the most sensitive part of our body and therefore require constant care. Dry and chapped lips will not appear eye-catchy. So today I will present you with a couple of homemade remedies on how to take care of your lips, so keep reading.

First, for getting rid of the problem of dry chapped lips refrain from licking them! Yeah, that simple :) ! Just after getting rid of this nasty habit you can follow the remedies mentioned below. Here we go!

To smooth chapped and dry lips, 30 minutes before going out, apply some olive, sunflower, corn or castor oil, you can also apply some sour cream, honey, vitamin A or E oil. After this procedure rub your lips with the napkin and wear the lipstick, lip gloss or lip balm.

Nourishing mask recipes for lips:

Mix some of sour cream with carrot juice. Apply to your lips and rinse off after 5 – 7 minutes.

Mix cucumber juice with carrot juice or honey. Apply to lips and rinse off after 5 – 7 minutes. Smooth your lips with olive oil.

Mix grated apple with 1 teaspoon of butter. Apply received medley to lips and rinse off with cool water after 10 minutes.

Hair Care: Clay Mask RecipesLast month we were discussing why we should use a facial clay mask and I provided some clay mask recipes for face. Today i decided to share my best clay mask recipes for your hair.

Clay mask is very effective remedy. It absorbs dirt, clean the hair and head skin, give volume to the hair and also has antiseptic properties. All clay types differently effect to your hair for example white clay is more suitable for oily hair, while pink (rose) clay should be applied on dry hair, if you suffer from dandruff green clay would be the best choice.  So here are some clay mask recipes for your fabulous hair:

WARNING: Clay mask can make your hair very heavy and dry. So make sure you applied hair softening conditioner or balsam after procedure. Use clay mask no more then twice a week.
By the way, if you noticed that with the clay is washed away a lot of your hair, don’t worry – this is dead hair which was temporarily kept in the hair follicles.

The simplest way to make a clay mask is to mash it with water, green or chamomile (or any other herbal) tea. Mix some of clay with liquid till you receive smooth past. Then rub it into the hair roots and along the length of your hair. Wash your head, with shampoo, after 20 – 30 minutes.

To make you hair more shiny you can add 2 tablespoons of apple vinegar and egg yolk.
