Personally I hate taking my balm from a lip balm container with my fingers. I just can’t get rid of it after, I fill it on my hands, under my nails on top of that I think it’s not hygienic, especially when we are talking about homemade skin care product. Actually, to prevent introducing bacteria to the balm it’s advisable to use lipstick container. So today I’m gonna show you a very easy trick I use to fill my lip balm to container from a lipstick.

I took this very simple homemade balm recipe as an example:

Ingredients:

* 1 teaspoon of apricot kernel oil
* 1 teaspoon of calendula oil

Instructions:

Melt beeswax in a double boiler. Add apricot kernel and calendula oils. Don’t stop to stir. Remove from heat and continue mixing till medley get little bit cooler. After add lemon or orange essential oils. Pour out to a jar. OR, if you want your balm to be in a lipstick container, here is a very good hint!
